Tutorials: Reserving a Study Room

How to Reserve a Study Room

About the Library's Study Rooms

Alumni Library has 19 small study rooms that accommodate 1 to 2 people, three group study rooms for 4 to 6 people, and four meeting rooms. The Lounge area also offers a room for students with small children known as the "Family Room". The Family Room cannot be reserved at this time and is "first-come, first served". Therefore, please be considerate of your fellow students and allow parents with small children, nursing mothers, etc, the opportunity to use the Family Room.

Why should I reserve a Study Room?

During the fall and spring semesters, the Library may be extremely busy and access to study rooms limited. Although Alumni Library offers a reading nook and a quiet zone, study rooms may allow students to work in small groups or with peer-tutors or academic coaches. Therefore, we recommend students reserve a study room in advance. Study rooms may be reserved 7 days in advance.
